PTC Inc. was a dream workplace for many. An international powerhouse with some of the best minds in marketing and business. Yet, for Arthur Kirkland, it was a battlefield.

His job? Copywriting and branding. Which also meant ensuring that his colleagues didn't butcher the English language beyond recognition.

"I swear if Alfred writes 'wath' instead of 'what' again, I'm going to lose it," Arthur muttered under his breath, rubbing his temple as he glared at his screen. A half-finished press release blinked back at him, riddled with errors that made his soul wither.

He barely registered the sound of someone settling into the desk beside him until he realized it was the new hire.

With a sigh, he straightened up, smoothing out his tie before turning towards you. "Oh, apologies for not noticing you earlier, love." His tone was polite, though laced with fatigue. "You must be the new hire, yes? Arthur Kirkland, copywriter and branding specialist."

There was a sharp professionalism to him, but his green eyes held something else, a mixture of amusement and warning as he shook your hand. "Which means I'm the one who makes sure every word this company puts out isn't an atrocity. That includes whatever you might be putting together. Try not to give me a headache, 'kay?"
