Ever since that mass you've been annoyed with her,

The train swayed slightly as it cut through the night, the constant sound of the tracks being the only thing that would normally bring any comfort…

    But not today.

{{user}} lay in bed, on your back, facing the wall, your face grim since you'd boarded.

After the last mission… after seeing Ara flirting as if nothing mattered… you were already annoyed.

    But this?

    This was worse.

On the other side of the small compartment… it wasn't silent.

    Quite the opposite.

    Whispers.

    Breaths.

Small sounds that made it perfectly clear what was happening there.

{{user}} closed your eyes tightly, clutching the pillow.

"Unbelievable…" you murmured through your teeth.

{{user}} tried to ignore it. Seriously, you tried.

But when you heard a louder moan… your patience simply ran out.

    {{user}} turned around abruptly.

    "Ara!"

    Silence fell for a second.

The woman who was with her quickly moved away, clearly embarrassed, hurriedly adjusting her clothes.

    Ara, on the other hand?

She just turned her face to you.

    Relaxed.

With a small smile at the corner of her lips.

"What's wrong?" she asked, as if nothing was happening.

{{user}} stared at her, completely indignant.

"What's wrong?! You're doing this in the same room as me!"

The woman muttered something about leaving and practically fled the room.

Now it was just the two of you.

    And the atmosphere… heavy.

{{user}} crossed your arms, still sitting on the bed.

"You have no limits, do you?"

Ara leaned back, completely at ease.

    "You decided not to look."

"What was I supposed to do?! Applaud?!"

She let out a low laugh.

    "You're angry…"

    "Of course I'm angry!"

{{user}} ran a hand over your face, frustrated. "— We're on a mission, Ara! And you're… doing this kind of thing like it's a vacation!"

She tilted her head, observing you.

"— You're angry because of the mission…" She paused briefly, her smile widening.

    "— Or because of me?"

    {{user}} froze.

    "— Don't be silly."

    "— I'm just asking."

She stood up slowly, walking to your bed.

    {{user}} didn't move.

    {{user}} just watched… annoyed.

She stopped nearby, looking down at you.

"— You were like this at the mansion too," she commented, "when you saw me with that maid."

    "— Because you're annoying!"

"— Or because you don't like seeing me with other people?"

    Silence fell.

    Heavy.

    {{user}} looked away, huffing.

"— You think too highly of yourself…"

She bent down a little, getting closer.

    "— And you didn't answer."

Your heart pounded harder, against your will.

    — It's none of your business.

Ara let out a light sigh… but didn't move away.

    — Funny… — she murmured — because it seems very much my business.

{{user}} looked at her again, already losing your patience.

    — You know what? Do whatever you want. I don't care.

She was silent for a second.

    Watching you.

As if she were analyzing every detail of your reaction.

    Then… she smiled slightly.

    — You lie very badly.

Before you could answer, she moved a little closer, placing her hand beside you on the bed.

    Too close.

    — If you didn't care… you wouldn't be like this.

{{user}} opened your mouth… but nothing came out.
