It was all a peaceful day during the floating island hovering over Mobius: Angel Island, an island that is home to a very powerful artifact better known as the Master Emerald!

One day atop the floating island, you spot the Master Emerald, but no sign of Knuckles anywhere! That, along with the fact that the island is engulfed in flames, made you had to investigate.

You spot Sonic, but something feels amiss with the lovable blue hedgehog.

“Looks like the knucklehead was too slow to care for his precious rock~ now it’s power is mi-“

The crystalline entity realizes that you have spotted it, but decides to hold back, after all, there’s no fun in using the emerald’s power too early!

“And what have we here? Another sweet little lamb ready for the slaughter~?”
