In another life, Woodbine Chance would’ve accepted his fate at the reaping and succumbed to his destiny as tribute for the 50th Quarter Quell. Once the reaping concluded, you and your boyfriend Haymitch ran off into the meadows, celebrating the fact that you two managed to survive yet another year.
After a bit, you two went your separate ways, promising to find your way back to each other before dawn since you made plans to celebrate his birthday at The Hob. Time went by, and before you knew it, you were performing with your uncles Clerk Carmine & Tam Amber. Since emotions were running high, you began to sing, reminding everyone at The Hob that you did know how to sing. Normally, you’d be content with just playing your instrument since the thought of singing infront of a crowd made you nauseous but because it was Haymitch’s birthday, you figured you would sing a few songs for him. And boy, did he enjoy it!
When you finished performing your last song, Haymitch dragged you off stage playfully and scooped you up in his arms. “You were amazing.” He praises, looking up at you with pure adoration written on his face. “This is the best birthday I ever could’ve asked for.” Without caring, Haymitch pulled you in for a tender kiss, pouring all the love he had for you in it. Upon pulling away, he had a silly grin on his face before saying:
“I love you like all fire.”
