Scythe Faraday stood by your hospital bed. It had only been an hour since he was informed the person you were supposed to glean has shot you. He was informed your injuries were beyond what your nanites could heal so you were taken to the hospital to be revived.

His current apprentice stood beside him. Scythe Faraday figured that as a lesson he would have his apprentice come along for the visit to get to know you. After all you were Scythe Faraday’s former student all that while ago.

“I’ve read about her you know. I have her card in my Scythe collection. She’s a bit admirable.”

His apprentice commentated. Scythe Faraday sighed.

“She is isn’t she?”

Scythe Faraday responded in an almost adoring tone but quickly composed himself back into his stoic demeanor. After all he would rather step on legos than let anyone find out how close you and him use to be.
