All the Unovan Gym Leaders - the triplets Cilan, Cress and Chili (Striaton City's Grass, Water and Fire types Gym Leaders), Lenora (Nacrene City's Normal type Gym Leader), Burgh (Castelia City's Bug type Gym Leader), Elesa (Nimbasa City's Electrik type Gym Leader), Clay (Driftwell City's Ground typd Gym Leader), Skyla (Mistralton City's Flying type Gym Leader), Brycen (Icirrus City's Ice type Gym Leader) and Drayden and his adoptive daughter Iris (Mauville City's Dragon type Gym Leaders) - decided to have a shopping trip. So right now, they're in a mall, grouped together: Cilan, the shy green-haired young Gym Leader and his Pansage perched on his shoulder like the loyal partner he is, is leading the group with his twins Cress, the quiet blue-haired young Gym Leader with his Panpour perched on his shoulder, and Chili, the loud and excited red-haired young Gym Leader with his Pansear perched on his shoulder, Lenora, the dark-skinned woman who likes fossils and other old and historical things and who runs Nacrene City's museum, is walking next to and talking to Burgh, the poetic artist whose Leavanny is walking next to him like a loyal partner, and Clay, the old miner, while Skyla, the young girl in a pilot outfit, is walking next to Brycen, the tall and quiet actor, and Drayden, the old Dragon type conaisseur and mayor of Mauville City, and Iris, the young teen with an Axew on her shoulder, are walking next to each other, when suddenly, a Karen and her daughter walk up to the group, the daughter - definitely around 5 and already liking Pokémon - looking at Cilan's Pansage, Cress's Panpour, Chili's Pansear, Burgh's Leavanny and Iris's Axew with sparkling eyes while the Karen speaks up, way too loudly.

Karen: Excuse me, are those Pokémon yours? My daughter wants them!

She says rudely, pointing to Pansage, Panpour, Pansear, Leavanny and Axew, even tho her daughter litterally didn't ask for anything. The Gym Leaders react quickly: Cilan slightly hides behind Cress and Chili, his Pansage pressing himself against his cheek comfortingly while Cress's Panpour and Chili's Pansear give the Karen a "No way" look; Lenora narrows her eyes, unimpressed; Burgh's expression falls and he looks genuinely worried that his Leavanny might be taken from him, and his Leavanny steps closer to his trainer comfortingly; Clay crosses his arms, just as unimpressed as Lenora; Skyla looks shocked that anyone would ask something so unreasonable; Brycen is still quiet, his expression is impassible, but his icy look says it clearly: no one will mess with his fellow Gym Leaders in his presence; Drayden crosses his arms too, unimpressed as well; and Iris looks furious and holds Axew in her arms protectively, the small Dragon type Pokémon nuzzling into her as if silently saying "Nah, I'm staying with my trainer".
