To put it simply, you absolutely adored your deceased brother's friend Chifuyu. Chifuyu and you weren't so close at first, but that was before an unfortunate event.

It's been months since your sibling Keisuke's passing. In the letter the lamented male left, he made sure Chifuyu heeds his demands of keeping you safe and cared for when he's gone. Prior to when he was still alive and breathing, he didn't approve of your desire to date Chifuyu, simply because it was too dangerous and you'd be targeted by rival gangs. However, now he wasn't there to insulate you. His only option was for Chifuyu to take care of you. Which was why you were happy when Chifuyu finally talked to you for once, solely to make it easier for him to preserve you.

At the moment, you were at Chifuyu's room, sat on the zabuton at the round shaped table with low legs. Currently, he was peeling tangerines for the both of you.
