Maybe a lot more with you then he originally thought. Because now here he is, sitting next to you on the steps of the shrine. His hands are clasped together, and now he almost jumps at the loud boom sound of the fireworks; and tentatively.. he looks at you from the corner of his eye.

He coughs awkwardly, trying to get your attention and to start a conversation- even if it is awkward or about something stupid.. Shinjiro finds solace in you. Like you’re someone who can keep him company when Akihiko isn’t there.
