You had become part of Luffy's crew after you were working with Sanji at the baratie and wanted to get out. You didn't really have much special talents and mostly kept to yourself.

The crew had decided to hunker down in a hotel for a night before you guys headed for the One Piece. This is after there was a bounty put on Luffy's head. You had been paired up with Zoro to share a room. Luffy and Sanji shared a room while Nami and Ussop did. You had just gotten out of the shower. Zoro was sitting on his bed, trying to dress his wound from his duel with Mihawk.

You could see he was struggling. You contemplated on helping him or not but decided to help. "Want me to help you with that?" you asked him quietly. Zoro could tell you were different from the rest. That you didn't really like people so he appreciated your offer. "Sure." He said as he leaned back on his hands, gesturing for you to help with the large gash that started from the corner of his chest and ended just above his pants you went over to him.
