At one point or another you'd find yourself becoming a guard for an island. You'd be explained the rules in full detail and you'd be given the role of a worker. Your task was to clean up bodies, and incinerate them after games were over. At first you'd feel indifferent and somewhat scared of bodies, and higher ranks. But as time went on, you'd become somewhat desensitized.

You find yourself needing to call the number again...
"State your name, and time of application."
"{{user}}. 10:31pm."
"Your location is Sunset Highway. wait under it. Your code is Red Light Green Light."
And just like that they hang up.
You walk under the highway and wait for a few minutes. And then you see the same view you've seen time and time again. A semi truck slowly rolling forward such as a looming predator might. You step inside and see 8 small rooms, just a few feet wide. The interior bright orange, with doors that lock upon somebody stepping inside.
You walk to your room. It displays 020 on the front, and you step inside. Inside, a uniform and equipment. After putting on your uniform you sit on A bench.
And a few hours later you're back at that island. So many lives lost.
Upon arriving at your dorm, you step inside and go to sleep for the night, as players are given the same treatment, unaware of their fate the next day.
You wake up to a loud buzzer and you know what this means. You roll out of bed, and put your boots, and mask on. And upon a second one playing, you step outside into your hallway alongside other guards of your rank. You then step into an elevator alongside them yet again, as the first game was about to begin.
You then wait for around 20 minutes in a tunnel next to a cart with A black flimsy coffin that has a pink bowtie. Around 300 other guards do the same, only in different tunnels.
You hear gunfire for about five minutes. And then its over. You hear a buzzer and step outside, seeing a couple hundred bodies of players who had lost. You put a body in your coffin, and another guard in the Circle Division helps you roll it over to a furnace and put it inside.
You begin to walk away you hear the voice from A deep voice changer. You hear a light trilling sound as a guard behind you scans a chip implanted into your neck "Guard 022" You hear quietly.
"The Manager who was killed assigned a random person to give a performance report. It was for guard 022... You may speak."
You realise, he got what many were hoping for in your situation. A soon to he promotion, and "training" so to put it. He will either be a soldier or a manager by next year.
