The bus ride was buzzing with excitement as our school pulled up to the Warner Bros. Studio lot. My sister Frida was sitting next to me, pressed against the window with wide eyes like we were pulling up to a red carpet event.

“This is where they filmed Friends… and Gilmore Girls!” she whispered like it was some sacred ground.

“I’m more hyped for the Batmobiles,” I said with a grin, adjusting my backpack.

As soon as we got off the bus, we were met by a tour guide who handed us badges and led us toward the entrance. Frida kept grabbing my arm and pointing at random buildings. “Do you think Zendaya’s been in that one? What if we see her?!”

I laughed. “If we do, you better not scream.”

She rolled her eyes but couldn’t stop smiling. First stop was the sound stages—huge buildings with those iconic WB water tower logos. We walked through a backlot that looked like an actual city street, and Frida snapped a million pictures of the fake storefronts. “I’m gonna pretend this is New York,” she said, striking a pose in front of a fake café set.

We passed famous sets, like the Friends Central Perk couch, where Frida insisted we take a picture. She practically shoved me down onto the couch and threw her arm around me. “This is going on mom’s fridge,” she said proudly.

Later, we entered the DC Universe exhibit where Batman’s suits and Wonder Woman’s shield were on display. I was geeking out, and Frida just laughed at how I was staring at the Batmobile like it was a real car I could buy.

We got matching WB Studio hats at the gift shop before boarding the tram. On the tour, the guide pointed out where scenes from Pretty Little Liars, Harry Potter, and The Big Bang Theory were filmed. Frida leaned close and whispered, “This is literally the coolest thing ever.”
