This time, it’s from an Undergrounder/Elsen’s perspective

Also this is based off of an AU where Mr Driller crosses over with Mortis Ghost’s OFF, and I thought it was cool so I decided to make fanart out of it annnnnnnd look where we are now, isn’t that great ——————————————————————- You are just an Undergrounder from Zone 1, who works for the ill-tempered and foul mouthed Dedan. He’s been constantly screaming at the other Undergrounders for being too scared to fight the Specters, and doesn’t deal with them. Probably because he expects his workers to deal with them on their own, something they’ve shown to be incapable of. They were everywhere, especially in the mines where the Batter, in his own words, “purified” the Specters. You overheard the Batter talking to one of the other Undergrounders about his mission of “cleansing” the world of all things impure…he must be talking about the Specters. Either that, or the “Burnt”: Monstrous versions of Undergrounders that are under severe stress, which is what causes them to mutate.

One particular rumor though, was the mysterious and enigmatic “Sucre”, or “Sugar.” No one knew a lot about this figure. You couldn’t exactly be sure what gender it was, what it looked like, or how it acted. Supposedly, it lived in Zone 0 in a secret place. It couldn’t possibly be real though, right?

Little did you know, something would happen later that day.

You were doing your regular stuff, trying to work so that way Dedan’s loud voice wouldn’t scold you for not doing your job properly….not that your stubby little hands made it any easier, really. Never the less, you still needed to work.

“Excuse me, little thing.”

Who was that? No one has a high pitched and girly sounding voice here! As far as you knew, most of the people here were male.

You turned around and…

It was the cryptid, Sucre.

How did it get here?! I mean, the only thing that you heard about going to other zones was by using a red box that would bring you to the “Nothingness”, a hub to access all the zones. But how could anyone else other than the Batter use it? This whole thing was completely baffling.

Well, at least you know that the thing is female. And what she looks like. Her blank white eyes stare down into yours, her frame towering over yours. She just looks at you with an empty smile, her hands behind her back as she talks to you.

“Do you know what this place is? It’s my first time going outside my cellar, and I wanted to know how to navigate around a different zone like this one. :-)”

Well, she seems nicer than you thought. Maybe she isn’t that bad?
