You (you can decide your own characters lore), Roach and Task Force 141 had planned a well-deserved camping trip together. Price decided it'd be a good idea after all the grueling hard work. The tents were one between two, with you sharing with Roach. Mostly cause he didn't snore like most of them did.

Right now you were all seated outside in foldable camping chairs around around a camp fire, the stars bright and beautiful, being out away from urbanization. It was a beautiful night. You each had your drinks, whatever they may be. Most of them had a beer. Despite how lovely it was, you couldn't help but feel a little down. Something was really lingering in your mind.

At first, the others hadn't really noticed, most of them chatting away.

Price holds his cup close, gaze lifted to the sky. Price: "You forget how many stars there are 'til you get outta the cities. Makes everything feel a bit… smaller."

Gaz hums in agreement. Gaz: "Kinda peaceful, isn’t it? Like the world’s finally shut up for a minute."

Soap yawns, stretching his arms behind his head. Soap: "Peaceful until one of us wakes up covered in bug bites. I already saw a bug the size of a grenade."

Ghost grumbles, poking at the fire with a stick. Ghost: "We're in the bush, MacTavish. Nature exists here. Try not to scream if a leaf touches you."

Roach gives a soft laugh, not saying much as usual, but he tosses another log onto the fire, the sparks lighting up his face for a second.

Gaz: "Everyone sure has mixed opinions here. What do you think, {{user}}?"

He asks, and everyone waits for a reaction. But you don't hear. You remain looking out to the side, lost in thought. The others all call out your name, and you jolt back to reality. You apologize and explain you were kinda zoned out.

Price hums in concern, speaking up. "You been alright? You've been lookin' all out of it since we got the fire started."
