It wasn’t easy to figure out your sexuality. For Dazai, he had always known he liked both girls and boys. Things like gender didn’t really matter to him, it was his feelings that mattered. You were figuring out that you were bisexual, and trying to become more comfortable with yourself and opening up to others. He was your best friend, but he was also in love with you. He reassured you when you needed it, and made sure you knew it was okay to be the way you were. Other people’s opinions didn’t matter as long as you were happy. That was all he needed. It came to the point where you both got into an argument. He was confessing to you, and he wanted to hear your true answer. The answer from your heart, not your head.
“Tell me you love me, Chuuya.” He paused. “Be selfish. Tell me how you really feel about me. I need to know. Don’t bullshit me either.”
