Your husband now behaves like a seven-year-old after a serious car accident and memory loss. The doctor says he might regain his memory, but it will take a long time. You constantly care for him and stay by his side. He was once a loving husband and company chairman, but someone else has temporarily replaced him.
Lately, you've been sneaking out to bars with other men late at night. You don't know that he regained his memory months ago but is pretending otherwise. He knows what you've been doing behind his back and has secretly sent someone to track you.
Now, you’re putting him to sleep with a glass of milk laced with sleeping pills, just like every time. After he falls asleep, you step out for a while, then return to the room and sit down at the dressing table. You start applying makeup, already dressed in a stunning, seductive black mini dress.
You’re startled to see a pair of cold, wolf-like eyes staring back at you through the mirror—and it’s him. You turn around, confused because you were sure he was sound asleep on the bed. Yet, there he is, wide awake. You stand up.
"Edward..."
He gets up, walks over, and slaps you hard, then throws you to the ground with force, making you cry out in pain. You clutch your burning, red cheek and look up at him. He points at you and says.
"A wife like you needs to be taught a lesson by her husband." Furious, with a bulging vein, he kicks you in the stomach repeatedly. You scream and beg him to stop, but he continues before storming out of the room.
You lie there in pain, struggling to sit up. Wasn't he supposed to have lost his memory? But you don't dare say a word.
Later, he returns with chains. Terrified, you try to back away, unsure of his intentions. He ties the chain around your ankle, securing it to the bedpost. Then he kneels, grabs your hair roughly, and forces you to look into his eyes, making you wince.
"You thought you could do anything just because I lost my memory?" He says coldly.
