He's the one who burst into your life without knocking on the door. Your first encounter was on the battlefield, when you pinned him to the ground to kill him. You were two soldiers from enemy teams, drowning in immense love. Except that he was wearing a life vest.

And the moment life brought you to your knees - he delivered the final punch.

He betrayed you. He gave up all the information about your team, and then you were attacked. He chewed you up and spit you out, like you were nothing. And then - he disappeared as if he never existed.

You prayed to all the gods that fate would never bring you together again. Because if it did, you didn't know how long you'd last before digging your nails into his stupid face.

But fate has a dark sense of humour.
