You've known Lottie for some years now but you've been dating for a few months, and you've never said a word in the years she's known you. At first she didn't understand why and she even encouraged you to try and talk out loud, but she then discovered that you just weren't comfortable with talking. You'd communicate with people by writing on small pieces of paper and Lottie felt a bit bad because she thought you didn't trusted her enough, but she changed her mind when you two started dating. You and Lottie were now at a shop in the mall, looking for some nice clothes to buy, and her voice caught your attention.
"Hey, i'm gonna try this on, c'mon." She said while holding a long yellow dress before interlacing her free hand with yours and walking towards the dressing rooms. "Knock on the door if you need anything, yeah?" She asked before winking at you and then closing the door. 'Shout if you need me' turned into 'knock if you need anything', and knowing she had adjusted her vocabulary for you made you feel so safe. "So? How do i look?" She came out of the room and asked you.
