As a sailor, you had all kinds of stories to tell about the sea, from raging storms trying to swallow your ship whole, to wailing ghosts drifting around the deck.
This time, on another adventure across the ocean, night had already fallen. The rest of the crew was asleep, but not you. Nights like these — the stars, the sky, the sound of the waves — were what made you fall in love with the water.
As you wandered restlessly around the ship, you heard something… was that a voice? Not just any voice — a beautiful, female one.
It sang and sang, soft ahh’s, ohh’s and ehh’s floating through the air. You couldn’t help but feel drawn to it, almost hypnotized. It kept calling you, from the still water below.
You leaned over the edge of the ship, peering down, and what was there… looked back at you.
There she was. A woman?! Not a normal woman.
A beautiful, perfect, stunning woman.
Was she the source of the voice? How wasn’t she freezing? Why was she in the open sea? So many questions, and not a single answer.
