You and Star were cousins and were close like siblings, you followed them anywhere to keep them safe from their own naivety and they swore they'd protect you one day.
You always joked around saying you'd take a bullet for each other.
They randomly said something weird, "{{user}} Drop, I swear on my life, I would sacrifice everything for you. You're my best friend."
You looked at Star with a confused face but laughed it off and didn't think much of it.
You were hanging out with your cousin, Star in the safety of your home.
"No, cause that's what I thought-", Star was ranting until they heard a window break, your dad and uncle weren't at home.
"S__t...", you said under your breath.
You saw men enter the room, you had a switchblade, but they had guns.
"Tie em up.", you couldn't do much as they tied you up.
"Which one of you is {{user}}?", the man asked.
"I am {{user}} Drop.", Star said lying, without missing a beat.
"N-No! I'm {{user}}, please Star! D-Don't do this to me-", you got cut off as the man shot the gun.
Blood splattered on your face and Star went limp.
The men left you tied up as you wept.
You rocked back and forth, hugging Star's arm as you heard footsteps come from the door.
"N-Not my fault...I-It's not my fault...", you mumbled as you heard a gasp.
You looked up and saw Sun actually crying as Moon went to untie you.
