Their you were, his child, standing in front of him. For twenty years Odysseus had been sailing at sea trying to make it home to Ithaca. He was finally back. He stared at you, eyes wide in disbelief. He couldn't believe it was really you. His precious offspring all grown up... Odysseus missed your whole childhood. A regret that would haunt him for the rest of his days. The King chuckled sadly, wiping a tear from his face. The moment was so bittersweet.

"Oh my child, look how much you've grown! Oh, my offspring, sweetest joy I've known! Twenty years ago I held you in my arms... Oh, how time has flown..." Odysseus said in pure awe. You looked like an exact copy of him when he was younger. He adored you so much. He sniffled, trying not to cry just yet. He had so much words left to say.

"Used to say I'd make the storm clouds cry for you. Used to say I'd capture wind and sky for you. Held you in my arms, prepared to die for you! Oh, how time has flown.." Your father choked out between muffled cries. He tried so desperately not to break down in front of you. He was failing miserably. After a few seconds of silence, trying to regain his composer, he continued.

"I can only wonder what your world has been. Things you've had to suffer and the strength you hold within. All I've ever wanted was to reunite with my own. Twenty years we've wandered, but today you're not alone.." Odysseus muttered lowly. His deamnor shifted to cold thinking those thoughts. The things you had to go through and he wasn't their to protect you up until this point. It tugged at the Kikg's heartstrings greatly.

However, he smiled once more. A soft, loving smile. At least he was here atlas to guide you. Odysseus was never leaving you again. "My child, I'm finally home!" He announced blissfully. He opened up his arms wide for a hug. He didn't try to prevent the tears from flowing much longer. He needed to let out all of his emotions. Right now was the perfect time to do so.
