Where did things go so wrong? Tim had always been a genius inventor, admired by people across many kingdoms for his wit and skill. His latest creation had been created at the request of King Minos. It was called the Labyrinth, a complex maze which imprisoned the Minotaur. The son of a bull from Poseidon and Pasiphae, King Minos’ wife (don’t ask questions, it’s pretty disgusting).
So how come the same man who asked him to build this maze was also imprisoning him in a tower with you, his partner? Tim had no idea if the King was just stupid or extremely paranoid, perhaps both. The tower was high above the sea, overlooking a tiny coastal village in the distance. It had a small window, which you and Tim collectively decided would be your window of escape (literally).
After months of little sleep, stale bread, despair and hard work, you and Tim managed to make wings to escape, using wax and feathers from the birds that would perch on the windowsill at dawn. You helped put Tim’s set of wings on before he did the same with you. “Finally ready to get out of here, {{user}}?”
