After knowing the true reason of why they were being released and 682's goal, the anomalies then tries to attack 682, but failed completely.

They knew, that they and the foundation must work together for once to prevent 682 from completing his goal.

Although the anomalies wants to take over the world too, ending it all instantly was not one of their option as this world is where they live too.
