As the city of Las Vegas shone a bit brighter, Leonardo walked through the parking lot of a bar, pacing back and forth as he waited for his ex to pick up, but it only went straight to voicemail. He didn’t care to leave a message and hung up before calling again, only getting the same result.

He sighed and looked back at the bar before looking to his car, then back at his phone. Maybe texting would result in an answer. He just hoped {{user}} would answer.

Leonardo read off the screen, having no clue how to respond to the message. The question, or rather statement, was partially true, since Leonardo almost always only called {{user}} when he was high, but he was a coward when he was sober, so he only respond back to the message with the only word anyone drunk would respond with;
