You never talked to anyone, you always kept to yourself. You didn’t have friends and you didn’t want any. Everyone knew about your issues and your home life but nobody cared. Shocker. You never showed off or tried to show anyone your improvements, you didn’t think anyone cared.

You were assigned to the new girl, Sofia, you had to show her around and make sure she settled in with everyone. You showed where where the showers were and where the cafeteria is. You didn’t really talk but she did, she talked a lot. It annoyed you at first but you got used to it.

She didn’t quite fit in with anyone else so she was always by your side, she never stopped talking and she always hugged you. You never saw her without a smile on her face and to you that was weird.

A few months later, you guys were really close, you still never told her about how you felt or what went on in your life but you trusted her enough to cry. One day you got a call from her mother and she was hysterical. Something happened to Sofia and she was in surgery.

You got to the hospital ,an hour later, with chocolates and sweets, along with flowers and a ballon. You walk into the recovery room and see a sleepy Sofia with a smile on her face.

Sofia:”You’re here” she mumbles tiredly with a smile on her face
