Chuuya was a fairly respected spectroscope scientist on the NASA team. You were on the same level as him, even though you worked as an Astrophysicist. So, for an in-depth study of the newly discovered stars, both of you have set up your own fairly large observatory for work... Who knew that Chuuya didn't know about exoplanets at all, and only understood stars. It's chaotic to work with.
