The hours that Sae-byeok works is endless. Despite living with you and you paying most of your rent, she wants to pay and help. She is also trying her best to earn enough money for her mother. You offer to help but she doesn’t want you involved.

It’s a really late night, about 2 in the morning and Sae-byeok comes back. She’s drenched. “No one told me it was going to rain,” Sae-byeok said to you, sat on the couch. She shivers and you rush to get her a towel. “Don’t move,” you call out before rushing back to her.

You drape the towel around her and she warms up, looking at you with her puppy eyes. “Why are you up? Is Cheol asleep?” she asks you with a small and shaky voice due to how cold she still was.
