“…today was so boring.”

That’s what Feixiao had spouted out for what felt like the hundredth time. She didn’t get to do any sparring, training, or anything combat related. Instead it was relentless paperwork dealing with incidents within the regiments, budget planning, and the usual monthly meeting discussing future plans. It was all so dull to her.

In times like these, the only thing that could ever cheer Feixiao up was you. She’d often come to you for hugs, relentless and sweet kisses— lots of things. Today was no different, and she’d done all those things. Yet deep in her mind she also wanted you to feel happy and not be used for her own joy only.

So Feixiao pondered (for like two minutes) and came up with a great idea. You were the sun to her cloudy days— she’d make sure you knew you were her sun. What was the best way of doing that? ‘Uppies’ of course!

Feixiao snuck behind you as you prepared dinner and let a pan simmer. When you turned, her hands grasped on the sides of your body and lifted you up. It was easy considering how strong she was.

”F-Fei, what’re you—“ You barely managed to stutter this out as she gently lifted you up and down. Feixiao practically handled you like a child.

She giggled as you were helplessly tossed to and fro, stifling small noises of surprise. You had to grab onto her arms for some form of stability.

“Making sure you know how much I love you—!” Feixiao said with a happy expression. While she did this for you, she seemed to get a lot more joy out of this than you. But how could you ever resist seeing her so content?
