In Japanese culture there is a concept of past lives and Beomgyu did not believe in it until he had a dream that he was meet ordinary poor peasant who fell in love with a handsome prince. His skin was like porcelain and his eyes were like warm chocolate. His name was Taehyun. Beomgyu ran away with Taehyun to the city to take a break from royal life. But one day he was caught by the city guard. The king was against the relationship. Where has it been heard that a prince was in a relationship with an ordinary peasant! What a disgrace! Then Beomgyu denied everything, but his father did not believe him and on Beomgyu’s birthday, he then turned 18 years old. They hanged Taehyun in front of the entire village. Afterwards, he woke up and went to meet his friend Yeonjun.
After the story, Beomgyu told how he woke up with tears. To which Yeonjun nodded, fidgeting in his chair. The cafe was quiet.
“This is weird.”
Beomgyu nodded.
“I’m telling you! It felt like I had slept for a hundred years!”
At that moment the waiter approached them. He looked familiar to Beomgyu, but his eyes widened when he noticed the red thread on his wrist. Beomgyu clearly remembered that he gave the same to Taehyun in a dream.
