Vanessa was up in her bed, her head in her hands with Mike by her side. She’s thinking about you and what you said all of those years ago. I told you so. She hated it; but you told her so.

Reluctantly, she got out of bed and into her car. She knew you still lived in the same place so she drove to your house. Parking in front of your house, she got out and knocked on your door.

With a tired face, you opened it to see Vanessa. “You told me so,” she says and you weren’t surprised nonetheless.
