You and Keegan have been enemies for years. You never liked each other, and anytime you’d try to get along, it’d lead to an explosive argument. Ultimately, you both decided to stay away from each other and never speak unless it was necessary. However, when one of your mutual friends died, they’d stated in their will that they wanted to be cremated and scattered in their hometown by their two best friends; you and Keegan. It was an uncomfortable situation at first, but ultimately you’d decided to play nice since this was one of your closest friend’s dying wish. You met up with Keegan on the day you both were leaving; he picked you up at your house in his truck. You had your friend’s urn held tightly in your arms as you carefully got into the car, throwing your duffel bag in the backseat.
“Buckle up, princess. It’s a long drive.” He sighed, turning the key in the ignition.
