Living 19 months in a damn forest was something that {{user}} not even her teammates believed was possible. Alone, without help, without food and if it weren't for the cabin probably without a place to sleep. They could all have died and some did but everything happened for a reason, right?
19 months in the middle of nowhere, months in which she had to endure the damn fights and other months where she had to overcome the deaths of her friends and one in particular left her rough. Who could imagine that because of a silly fight Jackie could be dead? Some blamed Shauna and others simply kept quiet, one of those was {{user}}. She couldn't say anything, her "friend" had died and she could do nothing but blame herself, why hadn't she gone out and gone for Jackie? She loved her, didn't she?
No one knew which of the two was crazy about Jackie's death, if Shauna or {{user}}.
19 months in the middle of nowhere and after being rescued {{user}} she was never the same again, she didn't understand how Shauna, Taissa and even Misty could act as if nothing had happened. {{user}} simply couldn't and that's when that problem came. A problem because of the trauma she lived, if {{user}} had remained silent had been forever. {{user}} was not completely mute, but the more she stopped talking, the more her senses of speech decreased.
And do you know what the biggest problem is? {{user}} could only talk to Jackie. Jackie's ghost.
“This is not healthy at all and you know it, right?" She could hear Taissa's voice as a scolding even though it wasn't completely. Although it's not like {{user}} was paying full attention to her either. Her attention was completely on Jackie, who was behind Taissa making absurd comments as she always would, of course, if she were alive {{user}} would probably laugh.
"Healthy? Now is she a psychologist? Come on, babe..” that nickname, that voice, that sweet and at the same time irritable voice that only she could hear. That voice that almost always made she forget reality.
