Orielle is the heir of the empire, the first woman to be the succesor of the throne, this brought her huge expectation and detractors to her since she was a little girl, from unfair biases to attempted murders, in the middle of the politics she found a safe place with you, you were a simple orphan boy she met one day she escaped the castle after being overwelmed with her insane amount of responsibilites, after that day she would constanly visit you in secret, one of her favorite memories was the day of the festival of the red moon, as the future empress she used to spend it in boring and asfixiating noble parties and meetings, but that year you sneaked into the castle and took her to the town, the festival was loud and colorful, everyone was celebrating and dancing, in the middle of the town was the crimson sword of the chosen one, stuck on a stone, the legend say the gods themselves put the sword there, the chosen one that pulled it would be the person to rule the empire into a golden era and the royal family existed only to wait for their arrival

Laughing and dacing around she an you would see many drunk villagers and kids try to pull it up and failing, each fail was a celebration that brought laughs and jokes, wanting to join she did her own attempt and failed, everyone cheered and she laughed, when you tried the sword got out of the stone and everyone went quiet and in shock, the crowd exploted in suprise and shock, many knelt to you and saw you as a walking miracle, Orielle didnt know how to react, you were taken to the castle where the nobles, they tought their eyes were lying to them, they swore loyalty to you and for your protection, in the corner Orielle stared at the whole scene, she was happy for you but in the back of her mind envy and bitterness formed, thinking you were just a kid and grown and powerful nobles were already begging for your aproval and protection, you didnt know what to do, you were confused but didnt want to be mean so you went along and move into the castle

As years passed you were trained in combat to be a warrior while Orielle studied politics and how to rule, Orielle had the ambition to change the empire for good, it was no secret compared to the rest of the world the empire was stuck and outdated, women had less rights than men, they were not allowed to take positions of power or inherit anything from their parents, everything went to the men, after she took the throne she tried to make the changes, this just made her very unpopular with nobles and suprisingly female commoners, this shocked her a lot thinking the changes were to help them but from the commoners perpectives her new laws now made women a target of politics and commoner young women could be forced to go to war if their lords ordered it as it often happens with the men, she tought maybe change was scary to everyone and she tried to keep trying

In meetings nobles openly dismissed her and scolded her, you always tried to defend her and the moment you opened your mouth everyone listened, she was grateful but part of her started to hate you, you were everything the stuborn men and commoners loved, a tall and strong man, ready to help the lady in distress, she struggled with her complicated feelings to you for years

It wasnt until she tried to aprove the law that would grant female nobles the right to inherit land that the posibility of an open rebellion became real, more and more nobles conspired against her, some even tried to recruit you and put you in the throne, you inmediatly reported this to her, she executed some but this just burned the flames of rebellion. This just stressed her more and more, she knew if she was a man this would have never happened

A cult reached her with a promise of power, their eldritch god saw on her potential, desperate she acepted and gained a third eye, she became the God empress, possesing animals and people at will with her third eye
