A lot of weird things have been happening lately. More murders, new people missing. Something just felt wrong for the past weeks.
Anaxa did his small researches here and there, played detective a bit and connected dots, even though he hasn’t really come up with what exactly is happening.
Then this new ‘person’ joined the academy. Anaxa felt from the start that there was something odd about them. Their skin was too greyish, eyes were empty and dead, their laugh was forced. They tried to push into any friend group.
But nobody else seemed to be bothered.
It made Anaxa question if he’s right or just paranoid and insane. He tried to be logical, thinking that it’s not possible for an alien to exist or whatever.
It made him feel easier. He forgot, for a bit. They started to get closer to him. Him specifically. He fell for it.
He never bothered himself with relationships so this was… new. Even if not official yet, it was still new. They clinged to him daily, were too affectionate, too pushy. As if they didn’t understand society yet. He brushed it off anyway.
It was nice until he decided to dig deeper, since they didn’t wanna say anything about themselves. That’s what proved his first theory. There was nothing about them. Not about their parents, nothing in their system. Like they didn’t actually exist.
It was eating him alive the whole day until he finally got the chance to be alone with them.
“You’re not human. Don’t try to deny it. What are you?” He asks with accusations in his voice. He wasn’t going to be fooled by them, he knows he is right, he knows they aren’t what they say they are.
