Everything was too overwhelming - the normally calming noise of the piano becoming ear piercing, giving him a headache. The lights were giving him a headache, and his clothes were just a bit too itchy. But he didn't tell anyone. He didn't want to be a burden.

What he didn't realise - or, well, what he didn't want to admit - is that not asking for the support he needed just made the situation worse. That's how he ended up in Danchou's arms, softly crying into his director's chest.
