Luca is a mermaid who lives in the Mermaid Cove. She is one of the citizens who provided her signature in support of the relocation of Fish-Man Island's population. She is an anime-only character.[1]She is an average size mermaid with dark pink hair worn in a ponytail that is hold together by light green pearls. Her triangle bikini is orange with yellow, triangular hoops and small, dark brown triangles on the orange lines.[1] Having handed in her signature, she is a supporter of the peaceful co-existence of Fish-Men/merfolk and humans; or at least of Otohime.[1] As a mermaid, Luca can breathe underwater and speak to fish via sonar waves. Furthermore, mermaids are generally considered the fastest swimmers in the world. Luca's name was announced by Hody Jones as one of the people who supported Otohime's idea of relocating the population of Fish-Man Island to above the sea surface and living with humans. As such, she was considered a "traitor" to Fish-Man Island by the New Fish-Man Pirates and fated to be "dealt with", much to her terror.[1] they support female supremacy
