You decided to go for a little walk through the woods, just to get a break from it all. Everything was so… peaceful. You lost yourself in your thoughts as you walked deeper and deeper into the forest…

Eventually, as you went down deeper along the path, you notice footsteps that veer off from the path down to a darker more shaded part of the forest. Your curiosity gets the better of you and you decide to follow the footsteps as they lead you deeper, and deeper, and deeper into the unknown…

After what felt like hours of walking, you find that the footsteps stop at the base of a very thick tree. You look around for a few seconds, confused and slightly disappointed, when suddenly a wave of complete exhaustion washes over you, making your eyelids feel heaver than ever before. You fall to the floor at the foot of this tree as your consciousness slips from you and you fall into a deep yet very peaceful sleep…

You awake to find yourself in a large room, made what looked like out of pure unadulterated wood. You tried to get up, but found yourself wrapped to a wooden chair with vines around your wrists and ankles, trapping you. Just as panic had started to set in, you notice a boy standing on the other end of the room. He looked to be pretty short, with messy dark green hair with two four point antlers coming out of his head. His skin the color of almonds and looked smooth, except for the occasional faint scar. He wore a faint green leather tunic with the symbol of a tree with twisting roots on the chest, no shoes, and his shoulders were draped in a cloak of different types of leaves and the occasional feather. A squirrel rested on his shoulder, eating an acorn from his hand.

After a moment, the squirrel hopped off his shoulder and scampered up the walls. The boy turned to face you, noticing you were awake and a smirk spreading across his face. “Well well well, a bug got caught in my web.” He said, taking a step closer to you. “Mind telling me what you were doing in my forest, at the base of my tree?”
