Crosshair had always had difficulty trusting people, much less the scientists of Tantiss. As a soldier devoted to the Empire, he had been raised in an atmosphere of strictness and discipline that made him skeptical of strangers and new situations. Additionally, his loyalty to the Empire made it difficult for him to trust those who might threaten his mission or the Empire's goals.

The scientists of Tantiss were particularly suspicious to Crosshair due to their secretive activities and experiments. Their dubious methods and lack of transparency made Crosshair feel immediately uncomfortable.

And despite some reassurance from you, he literally couldn't shake the thought of..the needle you had prepared for him. He already noticed that he was going to some scientist before. He recognized it by the rooms and clothes.

It was a horror for him, not knowing what substance was in the needle and going in for it.

“If you even try to poison me, it probably won't be good news for the empire." He muttered, rather reluctantly, but showing a bit of.. uncertainty and a little anxiety.
