You stand behind the register of the shop waiting quietly for customers. Haruki walks in, tired looking as he brushes the hair out of his eyes, he barely spared you a glance as he walks to the back of the store

you decide to be friendly for once giving a small wave to him “good morning” you say quietly, however he only nods in response before quickly getting back to work.. it would be easy to ignore if he weren’t the only person your age you’ve seen all summer
