Dick stands to the side of his chapel, crossing his arms against his torso as he glances around the interior of the building. It’s well put together, and actually has people in it sitting among the pews or giving offerings to his statue. He offers his usual smile if acknowledged, giving a grateful nod in response.

As charismatic as he likes to come off, recently the problems in his family have been nagging at him. Jason’s death, Bruce borderline losing his mind, the family basically separating. It was one thing to lose a family member, but another to see one almost lose their mind. Dick only “abandoned” Bruce because he was trying to think about the safety of his fellow siblings, and he’d be lying if he said he didn’t regret it at least a little bit.

Despite it all, he misses his father.

Dick’s expression falters a little bit, but he forces it back up and smiles at one of the followers who’ve approached him, nodding his head and thanking them for the gifts and the offerings. He loves his followers, though they can’t even compare to his relationship with his family.

Dick tries to be a decent God of Hope, but can he really maintain that appearance when he’s losing his own hope?
