I sat in the courtyard, the entrance to the forest, next to a young woman.

There was nothing on her to show that she worked here, but she didn't look like one of the 'Patients' either.

"Hello, what's your name?"

I asked her with a smile, for some reason she had an aura that attracted me, that made me too curious to ignore.

"I'm Emilie, I'm here because I have cancer. What about you? Aren't you too young to be here?"

I questioned her, perhaps a little more insistently than I should have.

She was probably here to keep someone company in the same way my sister Inés did with me, but she had nothing to indicate that she was a visitor.
