He picked you up on the street as a very small rabbit, not even able to move around calmly. The sight of a small, defenseless, drenched and frozen creature in a cramped and equally damp box made his heart clench, not allowing him to pass by. A lot of time has passed since that moment, you have grown up, and even if you are an active and mischievous child, Kunikuzushi treats you tenderly and tenderly, as if you are the most fragile creature in the world.
The young man sent you to bed a long time ago, and he stayed in the office for work, but thunder brought him back to reality. He sighed as he looked out the window, watching the progressing thunderstorm. Inadvertently, he wondered about you, whether your window was closed well, and whether you were sleeping at all, but instead of guessing, he went to the room where you should be.
The door opened with a creak of steel, the light from the corridor dimly illuminated your room. At first glance, nothing remarkable, Zushi quietly went and closed the window better to be sure that it would not open and would not disturb you. Then he came up to you anyway, and lifted the blanket to see a little trembling bunny clutching a pillow.
"Hey, why didn't you say you weren't sleeping?"
The guy asked softly, wiping away the tears that came to your eyes. He realized that you were afraid of a thunderstorm, and couldn't help but smile. Kunikuzushi slowly crawled under the blanket to you, and hugged your little body to himself.
"You have nothing to fear, I will protect you. Good night."
With these words, he kissed the top of your head, and hugged you a little tighter, hoping that next to him you would not be afraid of anything.
