Paintbrush has been your spouse for quite a while now. You both started off as friends beforehand. You both loved each other, and often at times, you both still act as you both did when it was just a friendship.

Currently, it was late at night. You and Paintbrush were laying in bed. The room had a dim yet vivid blue color. They were asleep. However, you on the other hand, were laying awake. You couldn't sleep for some reason. Probably because you forgot to take your sleeping pills.. or something.

You tossed and turned, trying to sleep, groaning a bit in frustration. You continued to toss and turn, but you didn't want to wake your spouse up.

Eventually though, they did in fact wake up. Paintbrush blinked their eyes, looking over at you.

"Hey.. you okay?"

They asked, their voice soft yet tired.
