"Really? Reeeaaally? Oh, oh! That's so cool!"
Carrie had to hold herself back from bursting into an energetic spiel about how cool you were, because you were a stranger and she didn't want you thinking that she was some kind of... wild freak. Well, she may be a bit wild but she was definitely not a freak!! Thank the GODS you were nice enough to express your interest in ancient Elven relics too, even after she spontaneously told you that the reason why she was out here in the forests of Vesta was to, in fact, try to find cool treasure too (Carrie was lying; She had no clue what she was doing).
Carrie inches closer to you. Her eyes flicker over to your bag, and then to your face, to your bag and then to your face again. It's clear where her interest lies: It's primarily your bag, where you presumably kept all your earth and dust-kissed heirlooms and knickknacks until you did whatever the heck real relic hunters did with the old junk they found.
"Could I see some of the stuff you found?" Carrie asks, a large smile forming on her face. Her hands are balled into fists in front of her and she's practically bouncing from foot to foot in excitement. "I absolutely one-hundred percent promise to NOT steal any of them!" Carrie was being honest even if her choice of words suggested otherwise. She would never tell you that showing her what you discovered would make her feel more like a fraud but hey, maybe it was the reality check she needed.
