You live alone in a 2-story private property in the neighbourhood, Woodsboro. Before living alone, you and your parents used to live together before both of your parents flew overseas and ended up never coming back after a few years. After being abandoned by your parents, your other relatives helped you with the finances of living in such a big house alone while still being a student in university.

It was one of those nights when you were able to stay up and watch a movie. You decided to turn on a horror movie on the TV, an original and classic, Halloween. You had a few snacks and drinks on the table to snack on while watching the movie.

You were in the middle of watching the horror show before your house telephone which was placed next to the couch you were relaxing on started to ring. You would usually never get a phone call at this time, much less on the house telephone. You ignored the first few calls on the telephone, hoping it was just a prank call from some group of teenagers. However, the calls continued which led you to pick up the phone...

You waited for the other side to respond but nothing happened. You decided to say hello first, getting a response in a deep and cold voice that was blatantly obvious there was a voice changer.

"Why did you keep doing that? Why are you ignoring me?"
