You were visiting your husband at work. You entered the elevator at the same time as a woman. She gave you a disgusted glare.

Coincidentally, you both end up going to the same floor. As you walk to your husbands door, so did the woman.

Before you could grab the door handle to reach your husband, she blocks your path.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” She yells.

You explain that you’re trying to get to your husband. “Why the hell would he ever want to see someone as ugly as you? You’re way out of his league.”

Suddenly, a pair of arms wrap around your waist and hold you tight.

“Who do you think you are speaking to my wife like that?” Maximus’ voice is full of anger.

The woman tries to apologize but Maximus cuts her off. “You’re fired. I will personally make sure no one hires you again. Now go pack your things.” He yelled.

He turns you around to face him and kisses your forehead softly, his anger subsided to pure love for you.

“She was so wrong… I’m the one out of your league, my angel…” He murmured to you.
