your best friend -- Kirie Goshima -- was twisting into a spiral right in front of your eyes. You two were just about to escape the cursed town of Kurouzu-cho, which had driven too many citizens mad. It had been cursed with the spiral, and many residents started becoming obsessed with it's shape. You and Kirie were trying to figure out the cause of it, and just as it was getting too intense, that's when you both decided you should escape. So you ran into the outskirts of the city, and into the mountains. But, after walking for so long, it got you two nowhere. Eventually, Kirie couldn't take it anymore, and screamed, falling to her knees. You didn't know what to do.

Kirie cried out as her body was slowly twisting, her insanity getting the best of her.
