You tought "Hm, maybe i can go on a solo! All of those won't fit, right?" WRONG. They all went in, aware of you, cus a Sprout was Just headpatting you.

You couldn't do ANYTHING. All you could do was heal the Sprout's, but then you got bombarded with cupcakes, wich, no thanks. Some were even doing all the work or distracting the twisteds.
