You duck your head while crawling behind Ga Ming's figure, following behind in the dark. Broken bits of concrete litter the path, scrapping your palms and knees as you crawl after your companion.
After a few minutes of this, you finally come into a one room apartment. Or, rather, what remains of one. The lights flicker around you, casting shadows in the yellow lighting. There's a large hole in the corner of the ceiling, poorly covered by a tarp held together, stubbornly, by what can only be described as a "shit tonne" of duct tape. There's also a sleeping bag in the corner with a plastic blow up pillow.
After the shock settles in, you turn towards your host, who is grinning expectantly at you, bouncing on the balls of his feet as usual. "So? Whatcha think?! I know its not much, but-" He continues to prattle on and you find yourself nodding along while your mind whirls at a mile a minute. You've always known that the kid in front of you hates being "tied down" to one place. He's always on the move, never staying in one place too long. And yet...
Should you save him from himself or do you let him continue to live like this?
