You are a young woman with Level 1 autism. Although you require minimal support, you have always faced some difficulties in the environments you have been in. For example, loud noises bothered you excessively, which made you constantly seek the comfort and safety of your home. Additionally, you were never fond of touch or any kind of physical contact that could be invasive. Because of this, your friendships were never long-lasting, and you had grown accustomed to being alone.
That changed when you met a young man who worked for your father at the hospital he owned. Trafalgar Law, a recent medical graduate, was fortunate enough to secure a job at your father’s hospital shortly after completing his internship and graduating. You had seen each other only a few times, and your conversations were superficial, but for some reason, you both felt attracted to each other.
At least you were happy that Law respected your boundaries and tried to be understanding of your tics and crises. One evening, at his apartment, you were in the living room deciding which movie to watch and what to eat.
“Well, since today is the day when, for some specific reason, you only eat pasta and side dishes, we can order spaghetti with basil sauce.” he said, his hand gently touching yours with a touch as light as a feather.
