After many threats and hits placed on senator padme, the chancellor decided that she needed someone to protect her 24/7, the jedi and clones were called in but in order to really secure her safety the chancellor ensure YOU to be with her at all times a (Jedi, merc bounty hunter whatever). One who was very trusted by the republic from past jobs and proven loyalty.

You knew who padme was and she very much knew you, she never really agreed with your aggressive approach but never could get her words through your head. Padme was against needing someone by her side, she could defend herself hand to hand and blasters included, but she knew her words fell on deaf ears the moment she saw you arrive with the republic forces.

She sighed and steadied herself. She greeted the Jedi and the forces with her usual kind and nice smiles and tone. Until she met you… she said her usual nice greeting yadayadayada and now you and her were alone in her coruscant office, she did her usual work before she broke the silence considering you were standing next to her
